Acid Lining & Bricking

Long-life protection for bund walls, floors and equipment exposed to acids, alkalis and aggressive process chemistry.

Acid-resistant brick linings are the gold standard wherever high-sulphur gas, aggressive solvents or strong acids are in play. We install full systems — from substrate preparation through to the final mortar — for power stations, smelter chimneys, electrowinning cells and chemical storage facilities. Our four-stage process — substrate preparation by HP/UHP water jetting, primer, intermediate coat with engineering fabric, then final lining — produces a finish that resists chemical attack while remaining easy to inspect and maintain.

Acid lining and bricking is usually the right answer where conventional industrial lining and coating will not survive the chemistry of the process, and the two scopes are often packaged together — coating for the structural steel, brick lining for the wetted internals.
